Requirements to run Base bidding

In order to create and run Base Bidding task each User will need the Base Access (Subscription or Lifetime NFT) as well as the PRO Access on top.

If you'd like to use the Base bidding features only feel free to create a ticket with us in Discord to get a discounted bundle price to get started.

Further you're wallet needs to hold WETH on Base L2 chain.

How does Base bidding work?

Bidding on Base Collections via OpenSea is pretty much the same as Bidding on Ethereum Collection which is why most Features are supported directly out of the box. However there are still a few points to note which will also very likely change soon:

• We are supporting Token Bidding tasks for now. CTOs will follow soon.

• You can only create Manual Tasks based on Token IDs for now. The Tokenscan command will provide you with the necessary token id list through our community bot!

• Currently Base Collections cannot yet be added to the Search engine but we are working on it.

• ICB will work on Base too, but it can only counterbid other Token bids. Once we add CTOs this will change as CTOs will be able to counter other Collection and Trait Bids.

Convert ETH / WETH to Base

In order to be able to bid with WETH on Base you'll have to birdge some of your WETH to the Base Chain.

• Metamask is offering a direct Briding Service between different L2 Chains and Base is one of the supported Chains here. Simply use it with the following link: https://portfolio.metamask.io/bridge

Bridging WETH from ETH to Base L2 Network

Infura does currently not support Base L2 Chain via their free RPC servers. This is why Butler will not show your Base ETH / WETH Balance on the Dashboard or Wallets Overview.

Also Tasks will not be able to check in Advance how much WETH is available in your Wallet. They will simply fire your bids and if your balance is not high enough the OpenSea API will reject the bids from your task.

Create Base Bidding Task

Base bidding tasks need to be created as Manual Task for now. Head to the Token Task page and hit the "Create Manual Task" Button:

Marketplace & Blockchain

With the required PRO Access you can choose the target Blockchain to "Base" with OpenSea as the Marketplace:

• Now to create your first Base Bidding Task you'll basically have to copy & past the Link to the Base Collection in Butler and fill the "Token IDs range" field with a list of Token IDs you'd like to bid on

• To support finding all Token IDs of a specific Trait we have two very usefull Community Bot features availbe for Members in our Discord: /traits /tokenscan

Dashboard & Wallt Details

• Base Bidding Tasks will be part of the Live Bidding Activity Feed on the Dashboard Overview

• Target link will link to OpenSea as usual

• However the wallet percentage for the WETH limits are not taking Base bids into account (as they are not processed on Ethereum L1)

• Wallet Details will show active bids on Base very similar though...
