# Will my Tasks resume if my computer restarts for any reason?

Yes, all Tasks are stored on your client, giving you the flexibility to pause or resume them at your convenience in the future. Detailed event logs for every Offer/Bid event are also meticulously recorded in the Task Event logs, ensuring you have comprehensive information.

Furthermore, if you decide to transfer your Butler to a new [VPS](/nft-butler/setup/setting-up-a-vps.md), it will automatically retrieve your tasks from the Butler backend. The only step you'll need to take is adding your bidding wallets again, as they are securely stored on your local computer with strong encryption.
